True espresso requires a machine that forces hot water through finely ground coffee under controlled pressure. A standard drip coffee maker cannot create authentic espresso because it works mainly through gravity. It can produce stronger concentrated coffee, but the body, crema, and extraction will differ.
Use freshly ground coffee with a fine and consistent texture. Add the recommended dose to the filter basket, distribute it evenly, and tamp it level. Lock the holder securely, start extraction, and stop when the required beverage weight is reached.
Specialty Coffee Association survey data shows that a typical espresso recipe uses 18 to 20 grams of coffee, produces about 36.5 grams of beverage, and extracts for 25 to 30 seconds. The most common brewing pressure is around 9 bar, with water close to 200°F.
When using a drip coffee maker, reduce the water volume and use slightly more coffee to create a concentrated cup. Do not use espresso-fine grounds if they block the filter or restrict water flow.
Reliable coffee equipment depends on accurate heating, stable pressure, food-contact materials, secure seals, and consistent molded components. A manufacturer with stainless steel processing and plastic injection capability controls these details more directly than a trader relying on several external factories.
Our 60,000-square-metre factory employs about 500 people. The OEM and ODM process covers structural design, material confirmation, tooling, sample approval, pilot production, inspection, and customized packaging.
Confirm brewing type, pressure, capacity, voltage, plug, water-contact materials, temperature control, removable parts, cleaning access, packaging, and spare components.
Quality checkpoints should include pressure stability, heating performance, leakage, plastic odor, seal fit, handle strength, and repeated brewing tests. IEC 60335-2-15:2024 covers household appliances used for heating liquids, including coffee makers. European projects should also review food-contact compliance under Regulation EC No 1935/2004.
